ROGER ALAN COTTON

A long-time resident of San Diego, CA, Roger has lived in Arizona since April of 2020. Currently, he lives in Flagstaff and works as a lecturer at Northern Arizona University.

He has a Master of Science in Game Design from Full Sail University, as well as an AA in Theatre from MiraCosta College, a BA in Theatre from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from San Diego State University.

His love of writing started in middle school, and he has since studied creative writing, dramatic writing, musical theatre lyric writing, narrative design, and screenwriting.

He has worked in the game development industry since 1994 as a game content designer, game designer, narrative designer, 3D modeler, and 3D character animator.

He has also taught these disciplines, as well as C# game programming, at post-secondary educational institutions and training centers.

Having started the Jacqueval Treyds series in 2018, Roger has completed the first three books in a series of 10 books. The fourth and fifth books will be released in 2027.
